Kling 3.0 Omni Guide: Features, Inputs, and How to Use It

A practical guide to Kling 3.0 Omni, including reference images, Elements, feature video, multi-shot storyboards, settings, and a free online workflow.

Kling 3.0 Omni is designed around a simple idea: video generation should not require a different tool for every kind of input. A text prompt, first frame, recurring character, product reference, motion reference, and shot list all belong to the same creative brief. Omni brings those controls into one model workflow.

That does not mean every generation needs every input. The useful part is choosing the smallest reference set that makes your intent clear. This guide explains what each control does, when to use it, and how to create a first video with the Kling 3.0 Omni AI Video Generator.

What is Kling 3.0 Omni?

Kling 3.0 Omni is an all-in-one model in the Kling 3 generation. Through the capabilities currently exposed by our APIMart integration, it accepts:

  • text prompts;
  • ordinary image references;
  • role-based first frame, last frame, and reference images;
  • Elements made from multiple views of one person or object;
  • one base or feature video reference;
  • custom or intelligent multi-shot direction;
  • optional native audio on supported configurations;
  • 720P, 1080P, and 4K modes at the provider level.

Our launch offer deliberately uses a narrower, predictable preset: 10 seconds, 720P, no audio, and no watermark. It gives every eligible account the same free test while higher-cost settings remain reserved for the credits release.

The four useful ways to start

1. Text only

Text-to-video is best when the model can invent the visual identity. Describe the subject, action, location, camera, lighting, and sequence. Avoid adding references merely because the upload control exists; unnecessary constraints can make a simple concept harder to execute.

2. First and last frames

A first frame gives the generation a precise opening composition. A last frame adds a destination for the motion. Use both for transformations, product reveals, camera transitions, or scenes where the final arrangement matters.

Role-based images are different from general references. A first frame controls where the timeline begins, while a reference image communicates who or what should stay recognizable.

3. Elements for a recurring subject

An Element is built from two to four views of the same person, object, costume, or product. Multiple angles help the model understand identity beyond one flat image. Use clean views with consistent appearance and limited occlusion.

Elements are valuable for commercial work because they separate subject identity from scene direction. The prompt can change the location and camera while the Element continues to describe the subject.

4. Feature video reference

A feature video can guide movement and temporal structure. It is useful when a motion is difficult to explain with text alone: a dance phrase, camera path, performance rhythm, or product interaction.

The provider currently accepts one supported video reference. MP4 and MOV files should be 3–10 seconds, within the documented size and frame constraints. Feature video and native audio have compatibility rules, so the generator prevents unsupported combinations before submission.

How multi-shot storyboards work

Kling 3.0 Omni can divide a generation into up to six shots. In custom mode, every shot has a prompt and duration, and those durations must add up to the total video length.

For a 10-second launch generation, a useful structure is:

  1. 0–3s: establish the subject and location;
  2. 3–7s: perform the main action with a clear camera move;
  3. 7–10s: reveal the result or finish on a strong composition.

Do not write six nearly identical shot prompts. Give each beat a narrative job. The model needs to know why the edit occurs, not merely that there is another shot.

Step-by-step: create a free Omni video

  1. Open the Kling 3.0 Omni generator.
  2. Sign in with Google. The launch entitlement is tied to the account and can be used once.
  3. Write the main prompt.
  4. Choose Prompt, Frames, Elements, or Feature Video.
  5. Keep the launch settings at 10 seconds, 720P, no audio.
  6. Optionally enable Storyboard and direct two shots.
  7. Click Generate free and complete the Cloudflare security check.
  8. The task submits automatically. Follow its progress in History.

The security check protects a very limited provider budget from automated abuse. It does not change the prompt or media you submit.

Prompt structure that works

A reliable Omni prompt has five blocks:

  1. Subject lock: identify the referenced person, object, or product.
  2. Scene: state the physical location and important environmental detail.
  3. Action: use visible verbs and a clear sequence.
  4. Camera: specify framing, movement, and lens character.
  5. Light and finish: describe direction, contrast, texture, and mood.

Limits to understand before generating

The current launch version follows APIMart capabilities that have been mapped and tested in our integration. It does not promise a separate permanent voice asset system because that parameter is not exposed in the provider documentation we use. Base Video Editing is also held back from the free launch workflow.

4K is hidden for now. 1080P and native audio are identified as paid settings because they create materially higher upstream cost. The free generation always uses 720P and silent output, even if a modified client attempts to submit a different value; the server enforces the preset before calling the provider.

Is Kling 3.0 Omni right for your project?

Use Omni when a video depends on relationships between several forms of direction: a consistent person plus a shot list, a product plus a motion reference, or a precise opening and closing frame. For a straightforward text concept, the main Kling 4.0 generator remains the fastest entry point.

The practical difference is control density. Omni gives a short sequence more anchors. The best first test is not the most complicated concept; it is a scene you already know how to judge. Choose one character, one action, and one purposeful cut, then create it with Kling 3.0 Omni.
